JFrog AI Assistant

When you enable JFrog AI, you gain access to Ask AI, an AI-powered assistant that helps you get more value from the JFrog Platform.

Ask AI can:

• Answer how-to questions and provide guidance on how to accomplish tasks correctly in the JFrog Platform.
• Navigate you to the right pages and workflows based on your intent, so you can find and use the capabilities you need.
• Provide contextual guidance to help you work more efficiently and effectively.

JFrog continuously expands these capabilities. Soon, Ask AI will also be able to answer questions about your data and, with your approval, take actions on your behalf.

Additional agentic capabilities will also become available in Ask AI and outside of it, based on your product entitlements. For example, AppTrust users can already use AI to help write unified policies in Rego, which makes it easier to create and manage policies.

Overall, JFrog AI is designed to evolve from an assistant that provides guidance into an intelligent, trusted agent that can help you understand, navigate, and act across the JFrog Platform and beyond, with you always in control.

Pricing and Usage Limits

For now, there is no charge for using JFrog AI capabilities, and no additional cost for the Ask AI platform. However, each user is subject to a weekly token limit. Once the limit is reached, you cannot use AI capabilities until the limit resets.

You will never be charged for an AI feature unless you have explicitly and actively opted into a paid AI capability.

Enable JFrog AI

Enabling JFrog AI turns on AI features for your subscription. Ask AI, the JFrog AI Assistant, is one of those features.

Only MyJFrog Primary Admins can approve the AI Addendum and enable JFrog AI.

To enable JFrog AI for your subscription:

1. Go to MyJFrog.

   If you click Ask AI in the JFrog Platform before JFrog AI is enabled, you are redirected to MyJFrog.

2. Go to MyJFrog > Settings > AI.

3. Approve the AI Addendum.

   JFrog AI is now available in all your JPDs.

The Primary Admin can opt out of JFrog AI at any time from MyJFrog AI settings.

To require JPD-level activation:

1. As the MyJFrog Primary Admin, select the Require JPD level activation checkbox in MyJFrog AI settings.
2. In each relevant JPD, click Ask AI.
3. Approve JFrog AI for that JPD.

To use Ask AI:

1. In the top bar of the JFrog Platform, click Ask AI.

   A panel appears in the Platform interface.

2. Enter your query and submit it to begin the conversation.
