Products Uninstallation
Uninstall Artifactory, Xray, and Distribution across Linux, Docker, Docker Compose, RPM, and Debian installations.
This document details the process for uninstalling JFrog Platform products. The options are listed by product, then by installation method (Linux, Docker, Docker Compose, RPM, and Debian).
The following products can be uninstalled using this procedure:
Artifactory Uninstallation
Uninstall Artifactory across all installation methods — Linux, Docker, RPM, and Debian.
Xray Uninstallation
Uninstall Xray and remove its services, data, and configuration files.
Distribution Uninstallation
Uninstall Distribution and remove its services, data, and configuration files.
Databases that are installed with a JFrog product (or used by the product) must either be explicitly uninstalled or handled externally.
If you opt to uninstall any database that is installed with a JFrog product (or used by the product), any other applications that might be using this database will lose their data as well.
Warning
Removing the data directory means you will lose all data stored and managed by the application: this data cannot be restored.
