GitHub PR Agent Usage Comments
Learn how JFrog Boost posts per-model token usage and cost summaries on GitHub pull requests.
When the boost-pr-usage-comments feature flag is on, JFrog Boost posts or updates a single GitHub PR comment with per-harness and per-model token usage and cost. This flag enables you to see how much each agent harness and model spent on a pull request, including tokens and estimated costs, without leaving GitHub.
How It Works
During boost sync (triggered via the Stop hook), Boost aggregates agent session token usage for the current branch, locates the corresponding open GitHub pull request, and creates or updates a single managed comment. The resulting comment provides a granular breakdown of input, output, and cached tokens, total token consumption, and estimated USD costs itemized by harness and model.
