Overview of application version details in JFrog AppTrust
Application versions are specific versioned instances of an AppTrust application that contain a precise bill of materials at a single point in time. An application version inherits business context (such as owners, criticality, and so on) from its parent application. The application version is the unit of trust that passes through the defined stages of its lifecycle until it is ready for eventual release.
You can view different types of application version details, including:
- Version Timeline: A listing of events that have occurred to the version since it was created.
- Content: List of packages in the version with some information about each package.
- Content Graph: An immutable audit trail of packages, builds, and evidence accumulated throughout the lifecycle of the version.
- Evidence: Listing of evidence items associated with the items in the version.
- Risk: A consolidated view of CVE risks detected in the version across the application lifecycle.
