AppTrust Prerequisites

The following prerequisites are required for AppTrust:

  • AppTrust license: Make sure your JFrog platform instance has the AppTrust license (entitlement) assigned to it. Contact your JFrog representative if it is not. Once the license has been assigned, you should see the AppTrust module in the main navigation menu of the platform UI.

  • JFrog Artifactory: AppTrust requires Artifactory version 7.125.x or higher.

  • JFrog Xray: AppTrust requires Xray version 3.130.5 or higher.

  • JFrog CLI: AppTrust requires JFrog CLI version 2.81.0 or higher.

  • JFrog Projects: Each AppTrust application must reside inside a project. Each project may contain as many AppTrust applications as required. For more information, see Projects.

  • JFrog config.yaml in Git repositories: You need to add a dedicated YAML file to each Git repository in which you wish to associate build packages and optionally evaluate application versions built from it. For more information, see Bind Packages to an Application.
