AppTrust Prerequisites

The following prerequisites are required for AppTrust:

• JFrog Software License: JFrog Ultimate Security Bundle license. This includes Enterprise+ and additional entitlements, including the AppTrust entitlement. See JFrog Bundles on the JFrog Pricing page. Once the license has been assigned with the AppTrust entitlement, you will see AppTrust in the main navigation menu of the JFrog Platform UI.

• JFrog Artifactory: AppTrust requires Artifactory version 7.125.x or higher.
• JFrog Xray: AppTrust requires Xray version 3.130.5 or higher and SBOM service enabled.
• JFrog CLI: AppTrust requires JFrog CLI version 2.81.0 or higher.
• JFrog Projects: At least one project is required to create AppTrust applications. Each project may include as many applications as required. For more information, see Projects.
• JFrog config.yaml in Git repositories: You need to add a dedicated YAML file to each Git repository in which you wish to associate build packages and optionally evaluate application versions built from it. For more information, see Bind Packages to an Application.
