Edit a Federated Repository
Modify settings, membership, and configuration of a Federated repository in JFrog Artifactory.
Modify settings, members, or advanced configuration of an existing Federated repository.
Who can perform this task: Platform Administrators
Prerequisites:
- The repository already exists
- You have Admin access
This topic covers the following tasks:
Edit Repository Settings
Update the basic, Federation, or advanced settings on an existing Federated repository.
To edit repository settings:
- In the Administration module, click Repositories.
- Open the Federated tab.
- Click the repository name.
- Update settings in relevant tabs:
- Basic: description, layout, package settings
- Federation: member list, receiving-only mode, sync behavior
- Advanced: proxy and no-proxy settings
- Click Save.
Push Updated Configuration
After editing a Federated repository, push the updated configuration to Federation members so all members reflect the change. Verify the change propagated on the Federation Dashboard.
To push the updated configuration to Federation members:
- In the Federated repository list, open row actions.
- Select Push Configuration.
